Calculated Risks is an art book and exhibition in one. Edited by artist Marianne Heier including 16 contributors from Italy, Japan, Norway and Sweden that represent various professional categories within the art system. The idea of art as a result of the tension between exponents from different professional categories is central to the project, equalling theoreticians' production to those of artists. The project can be seen as a collection of voices "from the inside", uncovering the reality of art production from various angles.
