On July 28th “the-n0-project†show will open at the Galerie
Andreas Huber and run until September 10th.
The show is the result of an approximately two-year long
cooperation between a group of artists (Heimo Lattner,
Andrea Pesendorfer, Günter Puller), a curator (Jeanette Pacher),
and a musician (Wolfgang Kopper). Their different approaches
created the area of conflict in which the practice of
contemporary art takes place today and which provides its form.
One could also claim that today, form is this field of conflict.
In a preliminary stage, the so-called „Disputes“ took place,
which could be followed in part by the public (Dec. 17, 2003,
at rhiz in Vienna).
Chatrooms and internet conferences provided
the base of operations for opening a relevant case on norms,
demands, absurdity, power and systems.
An online script was created, but the film never realized.
Instead, there are „stills“ as in cinematographic photography.
