In 1977 he began to explore the marriage between sound and images.Time plays an important part in his work, a reflective time, reminescences, a measure that deals with more than just memory. He often works with found objects and outdated media to which he gives new meaning. His sculptures nd collages are usually made out of discarded musical object: no longer used phones, acoustic speakers, tapes, album covers and found obsolete discs. For this show Marclay present the multimonitor installation entitled 'Shake Rattle and Roll (Flumix)' and a new series of photograps.
