Egon Schiele and the Modernist Culture of Youth. The show is timed to complement the simultaneous Egon Schiele retrospective at the Neue Galerie, New York. Adolescence, the theme was a favorite subject for some early 20th century artists; the exhibition also includes works by Erich Heckel, E.L. Kirchner, Oskar Kokoschka, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Edvard Munch and others.
