Within her distinctive concerns with the aerial view, Rhodes' recent works explore several new directions, moving from the semi- and post-industrial landscape towards both more rural and more urban topography. Experiment with varied distance from motif and angle of vision continues, and for the first time the artist is exhibiting one of the drawings she makes in association with her oil-on-board paintings.
