Her latest series of work, Paper Boundaries, are collages that subtly blend text and imagery. The magazine page, one of the chief elements used in the artist's present cycle, seems, to extend her reflection to the extreme fragility of the e-community.
Paper boundaries
The Sydney Artworld gallery will host the exhibition of the artist Francesca
Romana Pinzari
Australian-born, this artist graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine
Arts in Rome where she lives & holds most of her exhibitions to great
acclaim.
Her latest series of work, Paper Boundaries, are collages that subtly blend
text and imagery.
The magazine page, one of the chief elements used in the artist's present
cycle, seems, to extend her reflection to the extreme fragility of the
e-community as well, it seems to remind us how the conquest of a society
without any more traditional bounds is an opportunity to defend that reveals
its intrinsic fragility, its congenital vulnerability everyday.
The Artist will be back in Rome at the end of June to show her works during
the Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival from June 28th to July 8th 2006
