In 1946, the Maeght gallery opened an exhibition that grouped together works by Matisse, Rouault, Bonnard. Curators have decided to remember this historical moment of the post war era. The older masters naturally invited but the panorama has enlarged to all more recent productions, up to our days: Albers, Michaux, Masson, Soulages, Tinguely, Motherwell, Kline, Reinhardt, Saura, Ta'pies to finish with Boltanski, Kapoor, Kiefer.
