This is the second exhibition in a series the organizers hope to expand to many cities and other venues. The first was at the Scott Pfaffman Gallery 35 E. First St. NY, Jan15- Mar 10th called "Undo". The theme of the series is artists reflecting on issues of of the Presidential Election and Bush Agenda. counting Coup refers to the coup by counting engineered by Republicans, and the Native American practice in war of "counting coup", a system of honor on the battlefield. Coup could be obtained by striking an enemy with an open hand or "coupstick", stealing horses or supplies, or rescuing a comrade. The "coup" in this exhibition is about artist creating works that are provocative expressions and political statements.

Barbara Kruger, Richard Mock, Aki Kimoto, Liz&Val, Thom Corn, Sante Scardillo, David Camillieri, Doree Albritton,Jo Babcock, Peter Gourfain, Leon Golub, Tom Otterness, Judy Pfaff, Jenny Holzer, et al, Groups such as Bushwhacking.org and the Guerilla Girls, and many other well-known and emerging artists.

The exhibition is going well. Luminaries such as Leon Golub, Tom Otterness, Jenny Holzer, Barbara Kruger, Peter Fend, Judy Pfaff are now participating in the exhibition. There are ongoing discussions with artists in many cities to bring versions of the show to many places. So I think my idea is working. Stefan Eins, who I brought on to help out , is a go-getter and I think I needed someone to put the energy in at this time. See you tomorrow
