Lita Albuquerque and Andy Moses
The Peter Blake Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibit of recent works by Lita
Albuquerque and Andy Moses. Lita will be displaying works from her Auric Fields
series, which are resin disks made of gold leaf pigment. The combination of
materials used creates glowing panels that radiate brilliantly and entrance the eye.
She will also have a lecture on Sunday March 4 at 4 pm where she will be discussing
her latest earth art project entitled Stellar Axis. Lita has recently returned from
Antarctica where she placed blue spheres on the ice representing the constellations
overhead at summer solstice. Andy Moses will be showing his new abstract paintings,
which range in size from 16 x 20 inches to 54 x 100 inches. His use of concave
canvases on the larger paintings and beautiful horizontal gradation of color and
line leave the viewer visually captivated.
