At a time when biotechnologies are invading our everyday reality, this exhibition spotlights 11 Quebec, Canadian and international artists concerned with current issues related to identity. These artists employ a wide range of mediums (video installation, photography, painting, sculpture etc.) and a metaphorical tone to explore the fantastical possibilities of human mutation.

Québec, Canadian and international artists
concerned with current issues related to identity.
These artists employ a wide range of mediums
(video installation, photography, painting, sculpture
etc.) and a metaphorical tone to explore the
fantastical possibilities of human mutation. In their
imaginative, poetic approach, the human body is
multiplied, merges with nature to become an
element of the landscape and takes on animal forms,
provoking thought on the subject of cloning and the
loss of a sense of self.
