bâlelatina is a curated contemporary art fair showcasing international galleries exhibiting artists, who for the most part, will preview for the first time in the European art market. bâlelatina takes place in the city of Basel, in the building of the Brasilea Foundation Westquaistrasse 39, Dreiländereck CH-4054 Basel
The "Brasilea" Foundation was created by Onorio Mansutti on September 22nd, 2003, as a cultural center to promote the Latin American culture The building was conceived on the banks of the Rhine river, in the midst of the industrial harbor, work of the architects Arthur Fischer and Daniel Faust. Being a structure made of concrete and covered with a laminate of glass, it keeps the aesthetics and the industrial elegance of this harbor .
