Bertrand Dezoteux

Roubaix 3000, produced in 2007, is a family film with political notes. Dezoteux headed back south with a tape recorder in order to record members of his family. Editing the recordings was his means of writing. A scenario developed almost naturally from the words. Until 10th november "Statics", the videos of artists whose work looks at movement and gesture. The various ways they use the body as a means of expression demonstrate how the line between dance and contemporary art is tenuous. This impression is only reinforced by these collaborations between choreographers, dancers and artists. With Gilles Balmet, Barbara Noiret, Julia Boix-Vives, Nicolas Floch, Marie Reinert, Victoria Ilyushkina & Mayya Popova.
