Solo show

We are pleased to present the New York solo debut exhibition of ANDERS OINONEN in a new body of oil paintings, titled Gone Like Tomorrow. In these works, portraits are secondarily gleaned from what at first appear as landscape or abstract geometry. Their rich and vibrant colors seem to emit heat at an expertly painted angle of an otherwise subdued setting.

Anders Oinonen holds an MFA from the University of Waterloo. He has most recently shown at Greener Pastures, Toronto. Anders is a semifinalist for Royal Bank of Canada’s 2007 Painting Competition; and a recipient of Emerging Artist Grants from the Ontario Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Council. Anders currently lives and works in Toronto.
