Her paintings and drawings are strongly expressionist and intensively erotic. Her first novel Sang d’encre, written at the age of 16, it was published and her paintings and drawings are being shown in this exposition.
Isild Le Besco. Paintings
Not yet twenty-five, but a veteran of cinema with more than two
dozen films under her belt, Isild Le Besco has gained notice for
performances in films such as Sade and Roberto Succo, and is considered
one of France’s most promising young actresses.
Precocious and multi-talented, she made her directorial debut with
Half-Price, her groundbreaking portrayal of childhood, instantly marking
her a filmmaker to watch.
“The Wild Child of French Cinema” (The New York Times), is also a
talented writer and painter.
While releasing her second movie Charly as a director next
September, her first novel Sang d’encre, written at the age of 16, is
published by Editions Anabet and her paintings and drawings are
being shown for the first time at Galerie Paule Friedland &
Alexandre Rivault in Paris, next October.
As a writer, director or painter the young woman always gives us to
see something special about her : definitely sincere and free her
talent displayed on each discipline is rare and surprisingly brutal.
Her paintings and drawings are strongly expressionist and intensively
erotic.
