6th International Fair for Photography in Berlin
Germany’s Photographers’ Fair will take place for the 6th time, from 8th-11th November 2007, in the
Stilwerk Berlin. This successful fair, which had 14,000 visitors last year, assembles photographers,
experts and representatives of art photography from around the world in Berlin, for 4 days, to talk
about art, photography and its progression, to establish contacts and to develop projects.
As in past years, FOTOBILD will offer a comprehensive programme in the 4 sections Selling,
Viewing, Seeing and Hearing.
The Selling section consists of about 25 photographers, selected by the FOTOBILD jury, who will
present their artwork to visitors. The presentation of the photographs in stands resembles a solo
exhibition and requires professional photofinishing by the photographers themselves. The exhibited
work will be accessible to all interested visitors, as well as to professionals involved with the fair.
The Viewing section gives young photographers in particular a unique opportunity to present their
work to experts in their related field of work. In a 20 minute one-to-one talk they can ask questions and
receive suggestions. The participants can choose experts from a variety of fields including galleries,
museums, print media, festivals and publishing houses. For this year, 80 experts have already
confirmed participation in FOTOBILD Viewing.

Completed by an interesting supporting programme of podiumdiscussions and workshops in the
sections Seeing and Hearing, FOTOBILD offers a platform for art and photography, for interested
individuals from all around the world. The fair enjoys an excellent reputation and is the only German
festival to have been affiliated with the international circle “ Festivals of Light” in 2006.
