Oppitafel at Artspace has become a must see on the calendar as every year a
group exhibition is held where many artists are invited to produce something
special for the show with the title of Oppitafel. Oppitafel refers to a
table, or something on a table, etc and can be figurative or conceptual.
This year the brief for Oppitafel has been for artists to produce something
exciting for the Christmas table in the way of Christmas gifts. Works will
be placed on a Christmas table set up in the gallery. Works produced can be
quirky and kind. They can be big and bold or small and intimate. Join in the
Christmas celebrations as this will be an opportune time for buyers to
purchase creative gifts for colleagues, friends and family!
