[camouflage]. The exhibition focuses on notions of 'appearance', 'inaccessibility', 'exoticism', and the adoption of an 'attitude' within a global economy of desire. Objectif [camouflage] doesn't aim at illustrating this phenomenan in a documentary but approaches the subject matter in an elliptical way, creating a space of intensity where content is revealed through the echos and confrontations between the different artworks.

The exhibition objectif [camouflage] focuses on
notions of 'appearance', 'inaccessibility',
'exoticism', and the adoption of an 'attitude' within
a global economy of desire.
However attitudes and
cultural codes function within a social field, they
can appear autonomous or abstracted from a rooted
context or from concrete aims what makes them
inaccessible for a real understanding to outsiders. In
this way, attitude inscribes itself within a bigger
machinery of desire, of looking and being looked at.
Subjected to the gaze that decentralizes the
subject, attitude relates in an ambivalent
compensating way to that gaze, which as a form of
non-personal looking seems omnipresent in a worldwide
panopticum.
The exhibition objectif [camouflage]
doesn't aim at illustrating this phenomenan in a
documentary but approaches the subject matter in an
elliptical way, creating a space of intensity where
content is revealed through the echos and
confrontations between the different artworks.
