An exhibition of c. 50 drawings from the period 1954 - 1964. Stylistically as well as spiritually de Haan can be placed in the context of informal art. His work develops along Abstract-Expressionist lines, with the drawings being quite distinct from the paintings. His drawings are dominated by expressive linear structures, in which symbols can be recognised.
