The Kunstmuseum Winterthur possesses a large collection of works on paper, begun with the foundation of the museum in 1916 and expanded over the years thanks to many generous gifts. The exhibition - the first in a series that will give insight into the collecting activities of other institutions as well - provides an overview of the Winterthur collection's most important drawings, watercolors and other works on paper. The show includes around 180 works by circa 100 artists, from the early modernist era to the present.
From Edgar Degas to Gerhard Richter.
