For three weekend, from the 12th to the 28th of September
For the last three weekends of September, FormContent will turn into a Rehearsal Room in which the invited artists will present screenings, events and a series of diverse performances. ‘Rehearsing’ is foremost a way of working that tends to reject conclusions in favor of a continuous repetition and recalibration, its ultimate goal being of finding some form of balance.
The Rehearsal Room temporarily addresses the parameters of the selected works offering a space for experimentation. It also comments on the contemporary idea of ‘work in progress’: the invited artists will propose, show or discuss both existing projects or ideas for future works, performances or books.
The project will be treated as a series of events that will enable FormContent, as well as the artists, to tackle formats of presentation, engaging with different audiences and interests.
FIRST WEEKEND
Friday 12 September from 7 pm
Alexandros Papathanasiou and Asit Bhatt present The Art of this century. Accompanied by a text by Zeigam Azizov and based on Friedrich Kiesler's project for Peggy Guggenheim’s gallery while addressing FormContent' site specificity.
