A programme of practical projects
This display showcases work produced by two groups of young people who participated in Line of Vision projects at the National Gallery in May and June 2008.
Line of Vision is a programme of practical projects that aims to ensure inclusion for young people and provide opportunities for them to creatively engage with the National Gallery’s collection.
Young people are invited to visit the Gallery to look at and discuss a selection of paintings. Using a studio space and materials provided by the Gallery, they work with contemporary artists to produce their own creative responses to the focus paintings.
The projects also provide young people with a unique opportunity to talk to a contemporary artist about their work and gain an insight into how they are inspired by the Gallery’s collection.
