Third edition. Bolstered by its proved organizational quality, this first FIAC "off fair" exclusively devoted to contemporary art, is faithful to its engagement towards both artists and collectors. Some 40 French and foreign galleries are to present 200 artists or so. Show Off intends to pool a diversified sampling of contemporary art, including painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video and performances.
In 2008 Show Off is back again, as convivial, dynamical and idiosyncratic as ever. Bolstered by its proved organizational quality, this first FIAC “off fair” exclusively devoted to contemporary art1, is faithful to its engagement towards both artists and collectors. Its third yearly event (22 – 26 October) will be held at l’Espace Pierre Cardin.
Some forty French and foreign galleries, special projects, new discoveries.
For the third time, Show Off has limited itself to the fair dimensions which favored its early success. Some forty galleries, from France, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Germany, The United States, Belgium and Israel are to present two hundred artists or so. Several galleries from Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse and Bordeaux will join their Parisian counterparts in order to illustrate the vitality of the French artistic scene.
Starting one day earlier than the FIAC art fair, Show Off intends to pool — right in the middle of Paris — a most diversified sampling of contemporary art, including painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video and performances.
A NEW LECTURES PROGRAM
This year ShowOff is offering a complete program of lectures about private funding in the arts or video art for example. In those exclusive moments one will be able to share points o views about these importanta spects of the art market.

ShowOff is also fighting for the defense of the most innovative aspactes of the art market by organizing :
- Lectures on private funding for the arts (23 oct)
- Workshops for kids (everyday)
- Presentation of performances on the art fair
