Roman Signer

In this exhibition exclusively new works are being shown, some of them being created on-site. Since the 1970s Roman Signer has worked with carefully chosen objects of the everyday-life - desk, chair, and box - as well as different vehicles - Piaggio, biycicle or small wagons - which are moved, misshaped or destroyed by the use of different energy sources. In the current exhibition there's a focus on model helicopters. For instance they are stuck in a 3 meter perspex pipe as if imprisoned, partly slipping out and forming a heap on the floor. A film is showing 56 circulating model helicopters which make you think of a swarm of mosquitoes.
