"Horror Vacui" with works by Markus Copper, Jari Haanpera and Kimmo Schroderus. "(Un)naturally", group show
Three major Finnish artists, Markus Copper, Jari Haanpera and Kimmo Schroderus, concentrate on spatial issues. As the title "Horror Vacui" suggests, they dread the empty space and fill it up with powerful ideas, strong sculptural masses, moving images, light and sound. "(Un)naturally" offers a perspective on what it means to be a man in the 2000s through contemporary art. What do men who are not content to stick with standard assumptions present in their art? Works by: Jan-Erik Andersson, Kalle Hamm & Dzamil Kamanger, Jukka Korkeila, Jouni Kujansuu, Pekka Niskanen, Harri Palviranta, Kari Soinio and Viggo Wallenskiold.
