Eichhorn contents herself with simple media. Instead of high-tech equipment and a video laboratory, she has enough with a piece of charcoal or a coloured pencil and sometimes she does not even use carefully chosen sheets of paper but draws straight onto the wall, onto a blank wall. Someone capable of exchanging a sheet of paper so readily for a wall reveals a preference for an unusual format which, in her case, is without exception large in size; a format we might well call gigantic, at least in comparison with those generally used by other draughtsmen.
