Nurraum project, Berlin

Project 8 In occasion of the 20th anniversary of the coming down of the Berlin wall Enrico Michieletto presents, at the nurraum project, the project 'stand-by'. The space, conceived as a kind of trade fair pavilion, brings the spectator back to being taken off guard like in the other works that we already know by the artist. The wall, placed at 90' degrees at the entrance of the exhibition space represents the first area for reflection, a barrier that announces a mystery at first, then a trick. On the inside the 12 works will be placed: 12 false plasma screen TVs of 100 cm x 50. In each of the 'screens' the programme of the author, who is a silent observer of changes, a generous mediator of a kind of art that keeps becoming more and more extrovert and less corrupt. Thursday 12 November 6 to 8.
