Envisioning the Future is an intensive twelve week interdisciplinary project that will involve the arts and education in an effort to imagine, create and exhibit diverse images of the future. Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman will spearhead a unique project at the hub site in the Pomona Arts Colony. Chicago and Woodman will share their participatory educational methodology with a team of facilitators. Chicago, Woodman and the facilitators will then work with groups of students, visual artists and photographers to help them envision and forge images expressing the ways in which the future--be it personal, community or globalmight be constructed.
