International Bicycle Design Competition

In the past years, the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs of R.O.C. held the "1996 Taiwan Creative Bicycle Design Competition" and the "1997 Bicycle Design Competition Among Korea, Japan & R.O.C." With its tremendous success and the enthusiastic response from the designers, we have raised the competition level to international since the third year. The annual Bicycle Design Competition is executed by Taiwan Bicycle Industry R&D Center, it provides an opportunity for bike designers, manufacturers and fans from all over the world to shear experience and communicate.

a.Deadline for application
July 31, 2000
b.Deadline for submitting works for Initial Evaluation Stage
August 15, 2000
(No entries will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2000, Taipei
time. Please allow plenty of time for time differences and mailing time
when submitting your works.)
c.Notification of the Initial Evaluation results
Before September 15, 2000
d.Deadline for submitting works for Final Evaluation Stage
January 10, 2001
(No entries will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2000, Taipei
time. Please allow plenty of time for time differences and mailing time
when submitting your works.)
e.Award Ceremony
Scheduled to be held on March 31, 2001 - the first day of 2001 Taipei
International Cycle Show.
