Movie entry rules. International indipendent film festival
Applicant must be one of the credited writers, directors or
producers.
All formats (16mm, 35mm,Digital, 8mm) must be submitted
on VHS (NTSC) Cassettes are NOT returned. PAL tapes
require add'l transfer fee of $45.
Non-English films must have English subtitles.
All entries must come with our official entry form, the non-
refundable fee and VHS tape. (Even works-in-progress)
All monies must be in U.S. Dollars either by U.S. bank check
or money order.
Applicant must have legal ownership right to enter contest.
Applicants accepted for screening must submit a Filmmaker-
Director Bio (max. 400 words), Photo in action (on set) and
press kit with headshot photos of key actors, director.
Applicants accepted will need to submit Screening Video (if
different from the one sent) for Digital Projection on DVD or
VHS.
A Bare Bones Budget Summary Sheet should accompany each
feature film submission to verify Bare Bones qualification.
DO NOT FAX application forms.
For confirmation that your entry has been received, please
include a Self-addressed stamped postcard. Otherwise you will
receive an entry verification via email.
All applicants will be notified of the Screening decision by
February 1, 2001.
Films produced or initiated by a major movie studio are
ineligible for competition but may be considered for
Showcase Venue.
We do not accept pornography NOR excessive vulgarity.
World and U.S. Premieres selected for screening will receive
additional publicity.
Eligibility for the Bare Bones Auteur Award is based on
production credits and overall project independence and is
selected by the Judging Committee.
