Performances of music and readings in memory of Handel featuring God rot Tunbridge Wells by John Osborne and Handel's German Arias. Performed by: Timothy West (actor), Noemi Kiss (soprano), Persephone Gibbs (baroque violin) and Bernard Gordillo (harpsichord).

Free with entrance to the museum. No need to book.

CHILDREN'S EVENT: J C Smith Visit the Handel House Museum with J C Smith, Handel's friend and pupil. A costumed actor portraying J C Smith will take you round Handel's rooms drawing you into the world of the composer and his times. Great for all ages.

STUDY EVENT: Getting a Handel on Rameau
Handel House Museum
Peter Medhurst, music scholar and performer, unfolds the story of Handel's life in London through slides, contemporary accounts, and live music. Following a talk on music in 18th Century painting by Jo Hedley curator of the Wallace Collection, he will compare and contrast the life and work of Rameau.

Tickets: £23 (£18) includes coffee and guided tour of the Handel House Museum.

STUDY EVENT: The Eighteenth Century Stage: Theatre and Opera
Georgian Group, 6 Fitzroy Square
Speakers include Professor Aileen Ribeiro, Courtald Institute, on costumes in Hogarth's Southwark Fair, Professor Christopher Baugh, Kent University, on Scenography and Bill Sellars, Manager of the Georgian Theatre Royal, on restoring and running a Georgian theatre in the 21st century.
