history images of rail tracks, trains and so on were used as symbols
for modern life. today with digital image taking and manipulation the
image of the train may seem as an anachronism, at least the train is
not a symbol for technical revolution and modernity any more.
however, the image of the train may be used as an example of how
observation and perception of time are obtained in a digital world.
