In conjunction with the exhibition Performance 9: Allora & Calzadilla - on view from December 8, 2010 to January 10, 2011 -, the artists speak about their work "Stop, Repair, Prepare: Variations on Ode to Joy for a Prepared Piano". The discussion will focus on the their interest in the social, political, cultural, and aesthetic implications of sound and music. The evening is part of Modern Mondays, a showcase for innovation on screen. It engage with contemporary filmmakers and moving image artists, and rediscover landmark works that changed the way we experience film and media.
