A debate between Vasile Ernu, Ciprian Sulea and Costi Rogozanu. The economic crisis emphasized two other crises that were as deep as before, but that, because of rushed enthusiasm and random waves of money, were ignored: the political crisis and the crisis of intellectual public space. Why is there so little autonomy of intellectual public space? Why is it so irrelevant for politics? How do intellectuals position themselves in respect to politicians and vice versa? What are our chances to change the traditional paradigm of intellectuals associated with the state? What level of rupture and continuity exist, from this point of view, between communism and post-communism? Some questions that will remain unanswered...
