The main purpose of the exhibition is to address two Christmas-related issues. The first one is environmental - the indiscriminate holocaust of living trees that takes place every November (34 millions a year and counting); the second one is of social nature, and concerns the by now defunct tradition of sending personal greetings by hard mail. Over one hundred artists have been invited to design a Christmas card and send it to the gallery.

Gallerie Analix Forever is pleased to present 'Carte Blanche', an exhibition curated by Michele Robecchi featuring Christmas cards especially designed for the occasion by over 120 artists.
The main purpose of 'Carte Blanche', along with celebrating the season, is to address two Christmas-related issues. All the cards will be exhibited hanging from seven Christmas trees. At the end of the exhibition, the trees will be replanted in an outdoor area of Geneva, and will make an ecological statement as well as permanently standing as a testimony of the gallery’s contribution to the cultural life of the city over the past two decades. The Christmas cards will be collected in a publication due to be published in 2011.
