Every house has a door is a recently formed company, founded by Lin Hixson and Matthew Goulish (formerly of Goat Island), to create project-specific collaborations with invited guests. 'Let us think of these things always. Let us speak of them never' is a multi-faceted dance-theater work about utopian beliefs, created by artists from different countries and cultures: two performers from Chicago and two from Croatia. Conceived in three parts as performance, film program, and symposium, this innovative work is the first Chicago performance by Every house has a door. The artists conceived of this performance as one that may be experienced in combination with a related film screening (Feb 6) and symposium (Feb 12).
