Sarah DeLeo will perform the music of Duke Ellington. The backdrop for the performance will be the gallery's current show of forty-three paintings and sculptures by Saundra Schwartzkopf and Dallas-based artist Ginger Fox that explore a juxtaposition of the abstract and surrealist styles.
Sarah DeLeo will perform the music of Duke Ellington, Rogers and Hart, and others at STAG Art Gallery, 71 Clinton Street (at Rivington) on Manhattan's Lower East Side on Friday, November 8 at 7 p.m. STAG Art is sponsoring DeLeo's performance as part of their efforts to foster creative collaborations and present emerging artists working in a variety of media.

DeLeo recently debuted her newest cabaret show, "Too Young For The Blues?..." at Don't Tell Mama's. Sarah made her solo debut in 1997 with her cabaret show entitled, "The Song Is You," an energetic and fresh mix of pop standards. Since then Sarah has performed at venues throughout the New York area.
