Babette Mangolte

French New York-based experimental film-maker and artist Babette Mangolte introduces and presents a selection of her 'dance films'. Since the 1960s Mangolte has worked in close collaboration with choreographers and artists and this programme focuses on her films of performances by Trisha Brown, Robert Morris and Yvonne Rainer. Mangolte's work spans photography, experimental film and installation, and her work has been presented in numerous international exhibitions such as the Whitney Biennial, NY, 2010, The Migros Museum, Zurich, 2009, and Museo Reina Sofia, Madrid, Tate Liverpool.
