Dolores Zinny & Juan Maidagan

The Showroom (old venue), London

Zinny & Maidagan make slight but distinct interventions in the architecture of gallery and museum spaces - walls that give way, accentuated spatial volumes and blocked views. Central to their work is an interest in the juxtaposition of public and private, reality and fiction, object and representation. Their work deals with the relationship between the individual and larger structures - political systems, urban plans and the architecture of exhibition spaces.
