The exhibition represents a small retrospective. Roughly 130 colorful designs, models, photographs, and videos give a sense of the development of her work up until today - Johanson energetically continues to build new landscapes and constantly travels throughout the world.At the end of the 1960s, Johanson became a pioneer of ecological art. Her work and ideas since then provide tangible and impassioned evidence that art can contribute to a better environment. As early as 1969, the artist developed a visionary and coherent ecological program in which she constructed sculptural solutions for environmental problems, planological issues, urban development, and the loss of animals' and plants' natural habitats. She always conceptualizes her work on a large scale and focuses on practical execution of her projects.
