Ping Pong is a multi-destination, cross-cultural collaboration featuring artists from Los Angeles, Miami and Basel. It debuts at Projektraum M54, an old factory building, during Art Basel on June 17. LAAA will showcase artists J.T. Burke, Miguel Osuna and Andrew Pasquella at Ping Pong 2015. In addition to the LAAA artists, the exhibition will present artists Bhakti Baxter, Robert Chambers, Ruben Millares, Mette Tommerup and Antonia Wright from Miami and Gert Handschin, Sue Irion, Daniela Keiser and Matthias Spiess from Basel. Ping Pong, founded in 2007, is an independent exhibition project for contemporary art to cultivate artistic exchange between the very different cities. The exhibition brings together heterogeneous artistic positions, which move in the subject area of the city and urbanity. Curators: Sue Irion, Robert Chambers, Peter Mays, Bernadette Buergin. Opening party June 17, 6pm - 10pm, with live music by Lombego Surfers. Admission Free.
