The work For Reference Surely, Comfortably, by Bruno Zhu on disply in the Curatorial Programme Final Project exhibition Your Time is Not My Time, brings the online library bzbooks.org to a physical space. For the past two years, Zhu has been creating an extensive body of work using photography and bookmaking as tools to reassess narrative systems and the value of the photobook. For instance, one of his books, Facsimile is a series of epistolary novels narrating the sterile nature of virtual profiles into a mythology of longing and belonging. The project quickly turned into an ethnographic research, delineating demographics, genders and most importantly becoming a chronicle of pubescent forms of speech.On The final day of the exhibition Bruno Zhu will give a lecture about this book Facsimile. 28 Jun 2015,5 pm - 6 pm
