Join a discussion about Shunk-Kender's collaborative photo-documentary project, which raised questions about the relationships between document and object, archive and performance. What is the role of the photograph in re-presenting performance, and how is the original transformed in the process? Gallery Sessions, impromptu interactions facilitated by Museum educators that explore the creative process, art history, and the experience of art, take place daily in select galleries. Groups meet in the galleries noted on the schedule. Gallery Sessions are free with Museum admission. No registration is required.
