Art Book Fair Berlin 2015 takes place on the weekend of in Berlin as Europe's premier event for contemporary artists' books and periodicals by artists and art publishers. Featuring 130+ international participants and a series of public programmes: discussions, readings, presentations, performances, and art works that explore the perimeters of today's art publishing. In 2015, the focus is again primarily on artists and their artists' books - as more artists than ever present their current books. Furthermore, Black Palm, Edition Helga Marie Klosterfelde, Little & Large Editions, Galerie Neu / MD72, and Motto Books feature artists' multiples and editions. Artists whose work emanates from the book present special installations and performances as part of I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library: Susanne Burner, Anita Di Bianco, Natalie Czech, Dominique Hurth, Ines Lechleitner, Joachim Schmid, Erik Steinbrecher, Jonathan Monk and Elisabeth Tonnard. The public programmes series "Are you Friends with Books...?" presents lectures, performances, talks, panel discussions and book presentatations. Opening Friday 11th December h 18-20. Admission is free.
