Elements, 7 Travel Journals. As part of the Francophone Festival 2006, this launch will also present some of the artists original prints from the journals. The artist has captured images with her camera while travelling in France, Vietnam, Morocco, Madagascar, Senegal, Singapore and some other Asian countries.

As part of the Francophone Festival 2006, SG Private Banking Gallery at the Alliance
Francaise is proud to present French-Vietnamese photographer Claire Xuan’s launch
of “Elements" - a series of travel journals on limited editions.
This launch will also present some of Xuan’s original prints from the journals. Viewers
will see a display of five elements - Wood, Fire, Metal, Earth, and Water, which Xuan
has captured with her camera while travelling and unravelling the mystic of nature in
France, Vietnam, Morocco, Madagascar, Senegal, Singapore and some other Asian
countries.
To date, Xuan has 7 travel journals published under her belt; each has its geographical
respect to the 5 elements. The latest being, “Singapore" after successful launches of
her previous journals, “Vietnam", “Paris", “Morocco", “Madagascar", “Iceland" and
“Thailand".
Selected journals on limited editions can be purchased at the Alliance Francaise de
Singapour. This exhibition is sponsored by Air France and Novotel Clarke Quay
Singapore, and supported by the French Embassy, SG Private Banking and Alliance
Francaise de Singapour.
