Wilfredo Prieto and Seema Nusrat open their studios to the public

Gasworks Gallery, London

At the preview both artists will make public presentations of their work offering an insight into their practices and reflecting upon their experiences whilst on residency at Gasworks. Wilfredo Prieto's residency is granted as part of The Cartier Award, a prestigious annual award for a non-UK based artist. The open studio offers the unique opportunity to gain an insight and discuss with the artist his experiences of producing this new commission, within the climate of an internationally recognised art fair. During her residency Seema Nusrat has continued an ongoing exploration of the body. Responding to her immediate surroundings, she has become interested in consumption habits which she sees as specific to Londoners. Preview and Artists' Talks, 6.30 - 8pm.
