Launch Party of a new art space in South London
Launch Party of a new art space in South London, an evocative 1912 Police Station converted into gallery spaces and artist studios. The Old Police Station is an artist-run project in the form of a 'do-it-yourself art centre' responding to the ever-increasing momentum of the local scene. It is an experimental cultural and economic model that aims at least for self-sufficiency. It implements ideas of pluralistic, curatorial structures in particular those developed together with Jen Wu in: Event Horizon, GSK Contemporary, The Royal Academy; Metropolis Rise, China; Nekromantik at Zoo Art Fair; and Redux Poker.
