Chapter 3: Guestroom - Choir

Choir is a two part project based on the film My Dinner with Andre by Louis Malle (1981). It consist of an installation presenting a film montage that juxtaposes the characters' viewpoints on how to live. The repetition of oppositional text and image is played out as two voices between 2 monitors playing a slideshow of found images from library books. For the second part of the project, Guestroom (Ruth Hoflich and Maria Benjamin) is hosting a small private dinner where the Malle's film will be screened. At the same time, FormContent's growing temporary archive will be open for consultation. The shelving system has been designed by Luca Frei.
