"Protest! Respect! The Political as an Aesthetic Category" brings a
surprising trend into focus. As never before have art and politics had so
much in common. Politicians are increasingly becoming media figures.
Artists, on the other hand, reflect political reality -- not to improve the
world, but rather as an aesthetic statement, a form of discursive context in
the field of art.
