From the artificial sublime to the psycho-sexual fantastic, SuperNature presents a survey of landscape imagery in contemporary art at the beginning of the 21st century.

Going beyond simple attention-grabbing presentations of "virtual" reality and post-apocalyptic futurism, the artists in SuperNature take these attitudes as a given.

Using natural imagery, whether "real" or fabricated, they create complex narrative tales which reflect our own multi-layered experience.
