The public promotion of the group is a reaction against a decade dominated by the Brit Art elite and the perverse practise of toying with
anti-establishment notions by the establishment.
This exhibition has been put together by Paul Harvey ( the first Tyneside member of the Stuckists ) and Charles Thomson who now runs the
London gallery. Newcastle Arts Centre is pro painting and supports this show independent of the Arts Council. http://www.stuckism.com
